Mr. Vikas Bhatt

• Mr. Vikas Bhatt has more than two decades of experience in the Banking and Financial Services space. He has worked in different positions across various Regional Offices and Head Office of NABARD in the Business Initiatives Department, Department of Storage and Marketing, State Projects Department, Farm Sector Development Department, Off-Farm Development Department, Department of Supervision and Human Resources Management Department. Besides he has also worked with NABARD Consultancy Services Private Limited (NABCONS).
• His areas of experience include financing of infrastructure projects under Food Processing, Warehousing, Power, Irrigation, Rural Housing and Sanitation sectors. He also brings with him rich experience of working with grass-root level institutions involved in agriculture and rural development, e.g., FPOs, SHGs, JLGs, PACS etc.
• Mr. Vikas Bhatt is a Post Graduate in Economics. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with specialisation in Marketing. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF).

Mr. Ashish Km Choudhury

Ashish joined NABVENTURES team in 2024. Ashish has over 17 years of experience in ICICI Group and has spent last 15 years in investment business (PE/VC) managing growth and early stage transactions across diversified sectors which include BFSI/fintech, Consumers, Agri, healthcare, education etc. He has experience of managing full life cycle of the fund and has evaluated large set of emerging companies across sectors.

Ashish holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and MBA degree from NMIMS, Mumbai

Mr. Mohammad Khalid

• Mr. Mohammad Khalid has more than 15 years of experience in NABARD and has worked in various capacities in Department of Subsidiaries and Strategic Investment and Funds & Accounts Department.
• His area of experience includes investments in Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs), Risk Management, Asset Liability Management, Bank Supervision etc. He has been a part of investment team for AIFs in NABARD having committed capital of more than USD 87 million across various funds.
• He has also worked as a District Development Manager and has grassroot experience of implementing projects related to FPOs, SHGs, PACS etc.
• He is an MBA in Finance from AMU and is a Certified Associate of India Institute of Banking and Finance.

Mr. Anupam Pattanayak

• Mr. Anupam Pattanayak has more than 16 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services space. He has worked in different positions in NABARD & NABCONS Head office Mumbai and in North Eastern Region of the Country.
• Mr. Pattanayak has played an instrumental role in operationalizing innovative funding mechanisms under Long Term Irrigation Fund (LTIF), Micro Irrigation Fund (MIF), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) and Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) for raising of low cost resources from open market in the form of EBR and other Govt. Guarantee Bonds. This has culminated in a total disbursement of 12 billion USD by NABARD.
• He has also served as a District Development Manager (DDM) of NABARD in Birbhum district of West Bengal with rich experience of executing projects at grass-root level on tribal development, watershed development, FPOs, OFPOs, PACS, etc.
• A graduate in Chemical engineering, Anupam has also completed 2 levels of CFA. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF).

Mr. Gills John

Gills John is a Vice President at NABVENTURES. He has over 12 years of experience in Investments. Before NABVENTURES, he has worked with Sprout Capital Advisors, CapAleph Fund, a food and Agri focused fund and SIDBI Venture Capital. He holds an MMS (Finance) degree from Mumbai University.

Mr. Ankit Bhatnagar

• Ankit was working with Thinq Ventures as an Investment Analyst. At Thinq Ventures, he focused on seed to early stage investments.
• In the past, Ankit has worked with Canara Bank Securities and ICICI Bank.
• He holds PG in Securities Markets from NISM.

Mr. Tunu Sahu

Tunu Sahu is the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer in NABVENTURES. He has over 15 years of experience in Corporate Secretarial, Legal, Finance and Managerial Functions. Previously, he was working with Reliance Communications Limited, The Rubber Products Ltd and Technocraft Industries India Ltd. Tunu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law & Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Sambalpur University & Associate member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), New Delhi.

Mr. Shashwat S Goyal

Shashwat joined the NABVENTURES team in 2025. He has over five years of experience in private equity and venture capital, focusing on early-stage and growth investments across high-growth sectors.

Prior to NABVENTURES, he was an Associate at First Bridge India Growth Fund, where he has gained end-to-end experience in Fund lifecycle and was actively involved in investment evaluation, due diligence, portfolio monitoring and fund raising. He has assessed a wide range of companies across sectors. Previously, he also worked at Ernst & Young in statutory audit.

Shashwat is a Chartered Accountant and CFA Charter holder

Mr. Akshit Agarwal

Akshit Agarwal joined NABVENTURES in 2025 and brings over four years of experience across venture fundraising, transaction execution, and business strategy. A Chartered Accountant (AIR 3, AIR 30) and CFA, he has led end-to-end fundraising processes, working closely with venture investors on financial modelling, due diligence, competitive benchmarking, and deal structuring, while actively managing investor relations and board level performance reviews. Prior to NABVENTURES, Akshit worked with Deloitte, Aditya Birla Group and SalarySe, where he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, transaction advisory, and long-term value creation.

Ms. Deepti Paliwal

Deepti Paliwal is a compliance professional and Company Secretary with over 13 years of experience in private equity and venture capital. She specializes in regulatory compliance under SEBI (AIF) Regulations and the Companies Act, with deep expertise in fund lifecycle governance, regulatory filings, board governance, and policy formulation. She has a strong track record of managing end-to-end AIF compliance, liaising with regulatory authorities.

Prior to her current role, she served as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer at ICICI Venture Funds Management Co. Ltd., and as Head – Company Secretary & Compliance officer at Welspun One. She is a qualified Company Secretary (ICSI) and holds an LL.B. and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.

Mr. Anmol Menon

Anmol Menon joined NABVENTURES in 2025 and brings over three years of experience in fundraising and deal advisory, with a focus on early- and growth-stage startups.

Before joining NABVENTURES, Anmol served as a Senior Associate at CreedCap Advisors, where he developed comprehensive, end-to-end dealmaking expertise. He led the consumer segment and was involved across all stages of the transaction cycle, including mandate evaluation, preparation of investment collateral, due diligence, and negotiation of shareholder agreements.

Anmol began his career with Grant Thornton in the Financial Due Diligence practice, where he worked on growth-stage M&A transactions and built a strong foundation in financial analysis and transaction execution.

Anmol is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Maharaja Sayaji Rao University, Vadodara.

Smt. Sunita Salunkhe

• Smt. Sunita Salunkhe has 33 years of experience of various departments of NABARD viz. Institutional Development Department, Farm Sector, Human Resource and Management Department.
• She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University.

Mr. Sumeet Daharwal

• Mr. Sumeet Daharwal is a Chartered Accountant and Graduate in Commerce with Specialisation on Finance and accounts.
• Sumeet has work experience of 4.5 years in various industries and sectors.
• Worked with ICICI Bank Limited as Credit Analyst, completed 2.5 years handling the work profile of Working capital appraisal.
• Worked with FCI as internal auditor.

Mr. Parth Anand

• A graduate in Electrical Engineering, Parth has also completed his Masters in Business Administration with major in Finance from Indian Institute of Management, Jammu.
• Prior to joining NABVENTURES, Parth has worked in various fields of finance like Financial Planning & Analysis, NPA Management, Forex Risk Management, and Financial Product Pricing
• He has worked as an Associate Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis with PayNearby and also as a Specialist Officer-Forex in Treasury and International Banking Division of Union Bank of India.

Ms. Nitya Balwani

Nitya Balwani joined NABVENTURES investment team starting 2026. She is a Chartered Accountant (AIR 34) and a Lawyer with transaction and SPA advisory experience across venture capital, private equity, and strategic M&A. She has worked with global funds and strategic investors on buy and sell-side transactions focusing on early and growth-stage startups across technology, media, financial services, education, and telecom. Prior to NABVENTURES, Nitya was with Deloitte's Strategy, Risk and Transaction practice where she built a strong foundation in financial due diligence, quality of earnings, legal and commercial judgment while actively managing investor relations across transactions.
